What are the eligibility criteria and document requirements for students applying to the pathway programs?
a. IFP:
WAEC (C6 in Maths and English)
Age requirement at least 16 years maximum 18 years
International passport
English Language requirement (Oxford English test, IELTS, Duolingo, PTE, TOEFL)
Personal statement
Secondary school transcript
b. PMP:

Student attends consultation either through in person meetings or via phone calls, depending on availability.
Student submits required documents via email (admin@jibc.co.uk )
Application is processed.
A review of the application usually takes approximately 2 weeks.
Student receives an offer and makes a tuition deposit.
Enrolment and commencement of classes.
International Foundation Program (IFP) (Duration 3 terms): ₦7,000,000 total
₦3,500,000 (50%) upon enrolment

Pre-Master’s Program (PMP) (Duration 1 term): ₦5,500,000 total

A. General Refund Conditions:
Refunds are applicable to students who have made commitment to fees (e.g. tuition fees) and wish to withdraw from the Pre-University Pathway program. To be eligible for a refund, the student must submit a formal withdrawal request in writing to the Admissions Office or through the designated online platform.
B. Refund Eligibility:
Before Program Start Date: Full refund (minus non-refundable fees such as registration and application fees).
Within First 2 Weeks: 50% refund.
Before Midpoint of Program: 25% refund.
After Midpoint: No refund.
C. Non-refundable Fees:
Certain fees are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

Registration Fees
Material or Activity Fees
Visa Processing Fees (if applicable)
D. Special Circumstances:
In exceptional cases (such as medical emergencies, personal crises, or other valid reasons), students may request a review of their refund eligibility. Requests must be accompanied by supporting documentation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
E. Refund Process
To initiate the refund process, the student must:
Submit a written withdrawal request to the Admissions Office, either via email or through the online student portal.
Include relevant details such as the student’s full name, student ID, program enrolled, and reason for withdrawal.
If the withdrawal occurs after the program has begun, specify the date of withdrawal.
The refund will be processed within 30 business days from the date of approval of the withdrawal request.
F. Method of Refund
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method (e.g., credit card, bank transfer, etc.). If the original payment method is unavailable, an alternative refund method will be discussed and agreed upon with the student
G. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend classes or participation in the program does not constitute an automatic withdrawal, nor does it guarantee a refund. Students must formally withdraw following the procedure outlined above to be considered for a refund
H. Program Cancellation by the College
In the rare event that Jokings International Business College must cancel a program before the start date or during the term, full refunds will be provided to all students who have paid tuition fees. Refunds for any other fees will also be evaluated and processed accordingly.
I. Amendments to the Refund Policy
JOKINGS International Business College reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students in advance and will only apply to students who withdraw after the policy change.
